Driven matter & light response

What a lattice does when you drive it, and what comes back out as current

  1. 2026 Single-Shot Realization of 10,000-Mode Octave-Spanning Artificial Gauge Fields A hundred ring resonators, wired so that light going round one loop of the array picks up a phase, make a magnetic field that is not there. Each ring holds hundreds of colours, and every colour sees a slightly different field — which the usual theory assumes away. Correct for it and a single pulse lights ten thousand modes at once, across nearly an octave, with the topology intact.
  2. 2026 Zero-Flux Localization: Floquet Flat Bands at Magic Drives Flat Floquet bands and exact dynamical localization from a phase-space return criterion for driven quantum matter. In preparation
  3. 2026 Flat-Band Bulk Photovoltaics Efficiency theory for flat-band photovoltaics, with rhombohedral pentalayer graphene as a small-gap infrared platform. In preparation
  4. 2026 Covariant Response Tensors, Time-Reversal Characters, and Photoconductivity in Twisted Nanowires Symmetry framework for photovoltaic and photoconductive response; handedness-activated photocurrent in twisted and screw-dislocated wires. In preparation
